Brief overview

We were appointed by the team at William Grant & Sons to deliver their new office solution at the architecturally iconic 1970’s building that was once the Richmond Upon Thames magistrates court. The new office environment needs to not only respect the architectural heritage of the building but also enhance it whilst framing this truly activity based working (ABW) environment that was masterminded by the originators of ABW Veldhoen.

Project location:

Richmond Upon Thames

Embracing a brave new approach

Activity Based Working

Activity Based Working (ABW) offers an approach that is designed to inspire better collaboration between teams, foster authentic connection, drive innovation, and attract and retain the best talent. This is what Veldhoen say... Months of studies were carried out by Veldhoen to ensure every workplace type, every meeting style and all collaboration and social functions were considered. The result was a selection of highly function furniture pieces, finished in elegant fabrics, hard wearing Fenix surfaces and velvets.

It seemed obvious...

An office with it's own bar & roof terrace

The bar design reflects the refined nature of William Grant & Sons products that are available throughout the world. It provides and excellent venue for staff to dine or collaborate whilst also being a delight for visiting suppliers and partners.
