We were originally contacted to provide designs and costs to refurbish the head office facilities for Future Academies in Pimlico. Following our successful pitch the project grey in size substantially and at handover in early September we had complete the head office, redecorated three academies, fitted new flooring to two schools, installed new wayfinding to all three academies, carried out a rebrand and refurbished two houses for staff accommodation.

The Pimlico common room & full rebrand
The newly designed sixth form suite at Pimlico forms a benchmark for all Future Academies to provide a professional and functional environment for students to come together. The suite consist of a welcome space for house captains, the common room (shown) a study room, a staff work area and a technology suite. The common room was delivered with a teapoint, screens for presentation and communication and powered furniture to provide an agile space to enjoy.
The teapoint design shows an on brand finish to the walls and ceiling with elegant touches to the metro tiles, marble style worktop and elegant handles. Feature lighting was placed over the bar and adjacent meeting rooms to create a common theme throughout the entire head office environment.
The design for the washrooms includes a rich green colour scheme framed with black accessories and a marble style luxury vinyl tile from Forbo specialist flooring. Feature lighting above the extra large mirror provides a calm & stylish washroom finish for the head office.
The board room was designed to include a full storage wall with integrated AV equipment for meetings and presentations. The large central table is placed on an inset carpet with luxury vinyl tiles around the outside. Functional seatings surrounds the meeting table and acoustic panels are placed on the wall in the form of artwork. Museum lighting is placed above the central table to make this the focal point of the room and to improve clarity when carrying video calls.
